The Fundraising Committee provides scholars with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and entrepreneurial skills while helping support programs that benefit their school community. Through participation, scholars gain real-world experience in planning, collaboration, customer service, budgeting awareness, and community engagement. These experiences demonstrate leadership, initiative, and responsibility—qualities valued by colleges, scholarship committees, employers, military service programs, and apprenticeship opportunities. Eligible high school PTSA volunteer activities may also earn community service hours that can be applied toward school graduation requirements.
