Save the Date: Join us at the CHISD Back to School Rally on Sat, Aug 8th from 10am - 2pm at CHHS!
The Programs Committee helps bring the Cedar Hill Collegiate PTSA's mission to life by planning and supporting meaningful programs that engage families, enrich the scholar experience, recognize achievements, and strengthen partnerships between home and school.
To best serve our school community, the committee is organized into two program teams—Middle School and High School. Volunteers are encouraged to serve on the team that best aligns with their interests and should indicate their preferred grade level when joining the committee. While each team plans programs tailored to its respective scholars, both work collaboratively on school-wide initiatives that strengthen our entire PTSA community.
The committee also leads our participation in the National PTA School of Excellence program—a campus-wide continuous improvement initiative that strengthens family-school partnerships, identifies opportunities for growth, and helps create meaningful, lasting impact for scholars and families.
Committee responsibilities may include:
Planning and coordinating educational, leadership, family engagement, and recognition programs throughout the school year.
Supporting middle school and high school programs that align with the PTSA's mission and goals.
Collaborating with school administration, PTSA committees, and volunteers to deliver meaningful experiences for scholars and families.
Leading Cedar Hill Collegiate Academy & High School's participation in the National PTA School of Excellence program.
Coordinating School of Excellence surveys, planning meetings, evidence collection, and annual application activities.
Evaluating existing programs and recommending new opportunities that meet the evolving needs of our school community.
Partnering with the Communications Committee to promote PTSA programs and events.
